Yup, I'm a nerd alright. Computers and coding have been an important part of my life since I was a kid. I didn't go into computer science, but it still made a big difference in my life. I got a PhD in Analytical Chemistry before becoming a professor at the University of Minnesota for several years, and more recently I joined a small company in MN where I work to improve healthcare. It wouldn't have been possible without those computer skills I began developing as a kid. Oh, and did I mention that I also love games?
